The NiceJob App is enabled and activated through Libro. If you don’t already have a Libro account, you can sign up for a two month free trial here.

Integrating NiceJob with Libro means you can win reviews and referrals from your customers automatically after marking a reservation in Libro as “completed”.

What is Libro? Libro is one of North America's Leading Online Reservation Management Solutions

Libro empowers restaurants of all sizes with the tools to manage online reservations, increase dining room profits, and elevate the guest experience without pricey commission models. Libro is integrated with NiceJob to help restaurants automate the process of acquiring and sharing customer reviews and referrals.

How to connect Libro to NiceJob

  1. In your Libro dashboard, navigate to “My Restaurants” and Select “Settings” next to the Restaurant location you’d like to connect to the corresponding NiceJob account.

  2. Select “Integrations” from the sub-menu

  3. Click the NiceJob button and follow the prompts to authorize the connection

  4. That’s it! You’re connected!

What does the Libro connection do?

  • Upon connection, NiceJob will automatically import the customer name, email address, phone number and reservation details (known as ‘Booking’ in NiceJob) of any active reservations from that date or the future. It will not import past customer contact information or reservation events.

  • Anytime a new reservation is created, NiceJob will automatically import that reservation and the contact information of the customer in real-time.

  • By default, upon closing a reservation in Libro, NiceJob will automatically trigger a review request campaign to the customer

  • If a reservation is closed after 9 pm local time, the review request campaign will not trigger until at least 8 am the next business day. However the actual time of the message sent may differ to ensure the best response rate.

Frequent Questions

How do I know if the connection is working?

The connection is working if your customers appear in NiceJob’s People tab after integrating, along with their upcoming reservation events. Review request campaigns should be triggered automatically after closing a reservation in Libro, unless the reservation was closed after 9 pm local time.

What do I do if I think the connection is not working?

Just email us at support@nicejob.com or click the blue chat icon in the NiceJob app and let us know! We'll test it and make sure you're up and running.

How do I remove the connection?

Simply click the disconnect button in the Libro Integrations section listing NiceJob.

NiceJob retains previously imported information but will no longer import contact information from Libro. No more automated review request campaigns will be sent.

How do I prevent invites from being sent to certain customers?

At any point before you close the reservation in Libro you can prevent that customer from being automatically enrolled in a review campaign by going to their profile within NiceJob, clicking the ellipsis symbol (...) next to their name and clicking the “Block” button. This will prevent this client from being enrolled in any review campaign until they are unblocked.

However, we will soon have an option for you to tag the customer in Libro as “no review” which will prevent them from being automatically enrolled in a review campaign until you remove that tag from their profile in Libro.

Can I just bring over my contacts from Libro to NiceJob and manually send the invites out?

Yes, absolutely! At any time, you can import a list of customers and their contact information into NiceJob via CSV import in order to trigger a review request manually. Or you can manually enroll them in a campaign in NiceJob by clicking the “Get A Review” button in NiceJob’s Stories tab.

Does Libro send employee data to NiceJob so that my reviews can get automatically attributed to the right employee?

Not at this time, but the plan is to make this feature available in a later update. Learn more about employee attribution and other ways you can make use of it here.
