Why should you care about Competitor Insights?

Understanding how your business compares to competitors can reveal key opportunities for growth. By seeing how often competitors are reviewed and what star ratings they receive, you’ll know where you shine—and where you can improve.

So what do Competitor Insights actually do?

NiceJob's Competitor Insights lets you track your competitors’ review performance at a glance. You can see:

  • Total Reviews: How many reviews your competitors are getting.

  • Average Star Rating: Compare your average rating to theirs.

  • Star Rating Over Time: See how ratings change month by month.

  • Review Velocity: Find out how many reviews they receive monthly.

Navigate to the Insights tab and then select Competitors. Or just click here.

Getting started with Competitor Insights

To take advantage of Competitor insights follow these steps:

  1. Connect Google. 🌟

  2. Using your Google location and Business information we will recommend 9 businesses that are competitors of yours, and you can pick the 3 that are most relevant to you.

  3. We will pull in all their Google reviews for our analysis, please be patient as this can take up to 15 minutes.

  4. Enjoy your insights! 📈

How can I use Competitor Insights to grow my business?
