Creating a visually appealing website starts with selecting the right images and begins with your logo. Here’s how to ensure your website looks professional and converts visitors into customers.

Build your reputation starting with a nice-looking logo!

Branding is one of the most important aspects of defining the design and guidelines of your Convert website. That means choosing the right colors for your service and company identity, such as your logo.

Remember when you visited a website and saw a low-quality, hard-to-see logo? It probably didn’t leave a good impression. 🤔

We highly recommend providing your logo in vector file format.

Vector files, such as SVG, AI, EPS, or even some PDFs, are designed for effective scalability. Ask your graphic designer if you're unsure what a vector file is. They should have a backup of their work.

🔍 Vector or raster images, what's the difference?

Vector Image

  • Zoomable: You can zoom in indefinitely without losing quality. 😎

  • Formats: SVG, AI, EPS, and some PDFs.

Raster Image

  • Fixed Resolution: Quality degrades when zoomed in.

  • Formats: JPG, PNG, GIF.

*If providing a vector format is impossible, we can use PNG with transparency. Providing a JPG or PNG without transparency will limit the possibility of your website's background header.

High-quality images boost your conversion.

Websites containing high-quality images with relevant and unique content will get more views and increase user engagement. By providing easy-to-browse information, they can help tell your business's story and services.

We love showcasing your company’s achievements 😍 with your photos as long as they’re high-quality and highlight your company's professionalism. Using your images gives a personal touch to your website. When selecting pictures, don't emphasize the problem a client may have. Focus on photos that show the beautiful results of your services. Hero images that use the full-screen width.

A hero image, usually a high-quality photo or video, can be an excellent way to add a personal touch and build up your brand's credibility. High-quality, fullscreen imagery at the top of your page creates a positive first impression.

  • Resolution: We recommend supplying the original file with a size between 1500 and 2500 pixels wide. If not possible, the minimum required size is 1200px wide.

  • Checking Resolution: To check a photo's resolution on Windows, right-click on the image you want to use and then select "Properties." Go to the "Details" tab to see the image's dimensions and resolution.

Teaser and service showcase images.
Teaser images are typically small photos that showcase your services. We recommend supplying the original size without color alterations.

  • Resolution: We recommend supplying the original file with a size between 1500 and 2000 pixels wide. If that’s not possible, the minimum required size is 600px wide.

🚫 Avoid embedded text in images.

Putting text into graphics has significant drawbacks for search engine optimization. Plus, it delivers a poor user experience: the text is not selectable, searchable, zoomable, accessible, or friendly for high-DPI devices.

The right images can make all the difference, from using a crisp, scalable logo to showcasing your services with beautiful photos. Need more tips or assistance? We’re here to help! 😊
