Integrating NiceJob with FreshBooks means you can automate the sending of review invites to your customers (FreshBooks clients) shortly after you sent them an invoice.

How to connect FreshBooks to NiceJob?

  1. Go to the Apps page in NiceJob's Product Settings: https://app.nicejob.com/settings/product/apps

  2. Click "Connect" on the FreshBooks App listing

  3. Log in to your FreshBooks account when prompted

  4. Authorize NiceJob to access your FreshBooks data

  5. Select the FreshBooks account that you want to connect

  6. You are connected! 🚀

What does the FreshBooks connection do?

  • NiceJob will automatically import and sync your customers (FreshBooks clients), invoices, payments, and employees 😃

  • By default, upon sending an invoice, NiceJob will automatically trigger a review request campaign to that customer 😃

  • Invoice and payment information will automatically appear in the customer's profile in NiceJob

  • Your contacts will automatically be sent review invites after their invoice is sent in FreshBooks.

Frequently Asked Questions

Does FreshBooks send employee data to NiceJob so my reviews can get automatically attributed to the right employee?

Unfortunately not at this time. Learn more about employee attribution and other ways you can make use of it here. Employees are imported, but they aren't linked to a review. They can still be manually attributed to events.

What do I do if I think the connection is not working?

Just email us at support@nicejob.com or click the blue chat icon in the NiceJob app and let us know! We'll test it and make sure you're up and running.

How do I remove the connection?

Simply click the “Manage” button next to the FreshBooks icon on the “Apps” page under “Product Settings” in the NiceJob App and select “Disconnect” from the pop-up screen that appears. NiceJob retains previously imported information but will no longer import contact information from FreshBooks. No more automated review request campaigns will be sent.

How do I prevent invites from being sent to certain customers?

At any point before you send an invoice you can prevent that customer from being automatically enrolled in a review campaign by going to their profile within NiceJob, clicking the ellipsis symbol (...) next to their name and clicking the “Block” button. This will prevent this client from being enrolled in any review campaign until they are unblocked.
