If when following your review invite link to Facebook is producing an error message that states "This content is not available right now", like in the image below, it is likely related to your Facebook settings. 👌

How to Test Your Review Invite Link

If you ever would ever like to test if the links to your review sites are working NiceJob offers you a unique review invite link that can be found in your Nicejob account! 🎊

You can find your unique review invite link in NiceJob by going to Settings>Product Settings> Review settings. To test the link, simply click the link. This will take you to your Nicejob Microsite where the review sites you have connected will be displayed. ⭐

To test a connection to a review site simply click the review site you would like to test the link to.

Click the review site you would like to test. If you are directed to the review site the connection is working. 😊 (We recommend completing these steps in an incognito browser)

What can be adjusted in the Facebook Settings to ensure customers are directed to the Facebook reviews page when they click the link?

If your Nicejob review invite link is not directing to Facebook, there are a few things in your Facebook business page's settings you might want to check. ✅
A few simple adjustments can be made in your Facebook account to resolve issues with the review invite link not directing to Facebook. These adjustments include:

  • Turning on your recommendations

  • Making your Facebook page public

  • Adjusting your country visibility settings 😎

Turn on Recommendations

The link for Nicejob directs customers to the Facebook reviews page. If the link is not working, It could be the case Facebook Recommendations are not enabled on your page. 🤔
If the reviews are not enabled the Facebook page the Nicejob review link to Facebook will not work.

Setting up Facebook Recommendations for your business can be done by following theses steps:

  1. Log into Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.

  2. Click See all Profiles, then select the Business Page you want to switch into.

  3. Click your Page's profile photo in the top right.

  4. Click Settings & privacy, then click Settings.

  5. Click Privacy in the left menu, then click Page and Tagging.

  6. Toggle Allow others to view and leave reviews on your Page? to On ☑️

Make sure your page is public

If your Facebook page is not public, Nicejob will not be able to direct your customers to your Facebook page through the review invite link. 👍
You can view and edit all of the access and privacy settings on your page through the Setting tab In your Facebook page. It is most important to make sure your settings allow people to find you. To do this, make sure your page setting are set to ‘published’. 😊

How to check if your Facebook page is Public

  1. Log into Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.

  2. Click See all profiles, and select You Facebook Business page

  3. Click your Page’s profile picture in the top Right of Facebook.

  4. Click Settings & Privacy >>Settings.

  5. In the left menu, click Privacy and then click Public Posts.

  6. If your the page is visible it will say Public

Check your country visibility settings

If you are the admin of your Facebook page you can select which countries your Facebook Business page are visible.
If your Facebook is not visible in a specific location, the link to your Facebook reviews will not work for customers in that county. For example, If your Facebook page is not public for Canadians, your Facebook page will not be visible in Canada and the link to Facebook will not work. 🤕

To check and adjust your Facebook business country visibility settings

  1. Log into Facebook, then click your profile photo in the top right.

  2. Click See all profiles, and select You Facebook Business page

  3. Click your Page’s profile picture in the top Right of Facebook.

  4. Click Settings & Privacy >>Settings.

  5. In the left menu, click Privacy and then click Public Posts.

  6. In the Restrictions section, click Edit next to Country Restrictions.

  7. Add one or more countries and choose to hide or show your Page to viewers

  8. Click Save changes.
