When a customer gets a text invite from you while you're still on-site, they are far more likely to open it and drop a 5-star review right then and there while their great experience is fresh in their mind. 😃

If you don't use a CRM system (or your CRM doesn't integrate with NiceJob), manual field invites are your secret weapon. You don't need expensive software or automated workflows to build a 5-star reputation—all you and your technicians need is a smartphone and a few seconds after finishing a job!

Through NiceJob, we’ve made it super fast and easy for your team to send manual invites on the go.

Step 1: Set Up Technician Logins

To send manual invites, each team member needs their own NiceJob login:

  1. Log into your NiceJob account on a desktop or mobile browser.

  2. Go to Settings > Company & Plans > Company Team.

  3. Enter your technician's email address to send an invite. (Check out thisartilce learn moe about differnt account access levels Adjusting Access in Company Team)

  4. Once accepted, technicians can log into NiceJob from their own devices and send out review requests instantly.

Step 2: Send Manual Review Invites from Your Mobile Browser

NiceJob works seamlessly in Safari, Google Chrome, and other mobile browsers—no app store download required. đŸ“±

  1. Launch your mobile browser (Safari, Chrome, ect).

  2. Go to app.nicejob.com and Login to your account

  3. From the Stories page Click Invite Customer and follow the prompts to add a new contact

    1. Invite customer>> invite for reviews >> + add new contact. Enter the customer's Name, Email, and Phone Number>> the click "Invite to Get Reviews. "

      And voilĂ ! They will be invited instantly right from the Job

  4. Pro Tip — Add a Photo: Tap the Photo button inside the invite tool to take a picture of the finished job. Including a photo in your review invite can increase your chances of getting a review by up to 25%!

Step 3: Add NiceJob to Your Home Screen (1-Tap Access)

To make sending manual field invites as fast as opening any regular app, add NiceJob directly to your phone's home screen! 😊

Safari

  1. While logged into NiceJob.com, tap the Share button (the square icon with an arrow pointing up).

  2. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.

  3. Tap Add in the top-right corner. The NiceJob icon will now sit on your home screen like an app.

3. Scroll down and tap "Add to Home Screen".  Tap "Add" to place the website shortcut on your home screen. This will act just like an app. 😊

Google Chrome

  1. Open Chrome and go to NiceJob.com.

  2. Tap the three-dot menu in the top-right corner.

  3. Select Add to Home screen.

  4. Rename the shortcut NiceJob, then tap Add (and Add Automatically if prompted).
