You might have noticed a little badge that says "Published" at the bottom of your review cards on the Stories page. This simply means the review or photo is currently visible on any Widgets you've installed on your website, as well as on your NiceJob Microsite! 😊
Having reviews published to your site is one of the best ways to build trust with new visitors and boost your local search engine rankings.
🤖 How to Turn On Auto-Publishing
Instead of manually publishing reviews one by one, you can set up NiceJob to automatically publish high-rated reviews directly to your website widget!
Go to Settings >> Product Settings in your NiceJob account and select Review Settings.
Locate the Auto-Publishing option and toggle the switch to ON.
Set your preferred minimum star rating filter (for example, automatically publish any review rated 4 stars or above).

🛑 How to Unpublish a Review or Photo
If you ever want to remove a review or photo from displaying on your website or NiceJob Microsite, you can unpublish it in just a few clicks:
Log into your NiceJob account and navigate to the Stories page.
Find the review or photo you would like to remove from your website.
Click the word "Published" at the bottom of the review card.
Once unpublished, the review will be removed from your website's Stories Widget and your NiceJob Microsite.
⚠️ Important: Unpublishing a review in NiceJob does not delete or remove the review from third-party review platforms like Google, or Facebook. The only way a review can be removed from Google is if the original reviewer deletes it or if Google removes it for violating their policy.
Does Auto-Publishing Cross-Post Reviews to Other Sites? 🔄
No! Auto-publishing in NiceJob displays your reviews on your own website and NiceJob Microsite, but it does not post or duplicate reviews onto third-party review platforms like Google or Facebook. 👌
NiceJob, Google, and Facebook are all entirely separate review platforms. There is no technical capability or allowance to automatically send a review left on one site over to another.
To get a review on a specific platform like Google, the customer must log in to their own Google account and submit the review directly on Google. 🌟
Review platforms intentionally prevent cross-posting to protect the authenticity of customer feedback:
Platform Rules: Google, Facebook, and other major review sites prohibit automated or duplicated review postings across platforms.
Review Removal Risk: Search engines like Google monitor for identical content. Even if a real customer truthfully writes the exact same review on multiple sites, Google may flag and remove duplicate reviews automatically.

🗑️ How to Delete a Review Entirely from NiceJob
When a review is submitted on a third-party site like Google, NiceJob automatically imports a copy into your account. In some cases you may want that review removed from your account entirely. For example, If that review gets deleted from the original platform (either by the customer or by Google itself), the copy in your NiceJob account will remain until you manually delete it or discoenct and reconnect the review site.
How to Manually Delete a Review
Go to the Stories page in your NiceJob account.
Locate the review you want to remove.
Click the three dots (
...) next to the review.Select Delete.
💡 Tip: If you want a full refresh of the review in your account disconnecting and reconnecting your Google integration will refresh your imported reviews.
⚠️ Important Note Deleting a review directly from your NiceJob account will only remove it from NiceJob. It will not delete or remove the review from the third-party platform (such as Google / Facebook,) where it was originally posted.
If you want a review removed from a site like Google, it must be deleted by the customer who left it or removed directly by Google for violating their review policies.
