By understanding your customers and their journeys, you can unlock powerful insights and marketing automation that will accelerate the growth of your business 📈

You can import your customers into NiceJob via CSV file or by connecting a third party app, and we capture customer journey events from third party app connections.

So how do we define customers and customer journey events in the NiceJob platform? Below is a complete list of the terms and definitions around customers and journeys that you will see in the NiceJob app 🤓

👤 Person

A person that is known in your Company, and has a distinct and independent profile in the NiceJob platform under the People tab.

For example, a lead or a customer that you have imported into your company account either via CSV file or an app connection.

With the Person entity comes a list of properties that give us more details on that Person. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Name

  • Email

  • Company

  • Position

  • Tags

  • Time created

🗓 Customer Journey Events

A customer journey event is an event that represent a touch point between a company and a customer.

List of customer journey events:

Booking

A Booking event is an agreement to provide services usually at a specified time. Also known as a 'job'.

With the Booking event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Amount

  • Is complete

  • Tags

  • Time completed

  • Time created

  • Time scheduled

  • Average of amounts

  • Count

  • Sum of amounts

We capture Booking event data from the following third party apps:

Case

A Case event represents a legal case corresponding to a person

With the Case event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Status

  • Tags

  • Time completed

  • Time created

  • Count

Conversation

A Conversation event is a group of messages between company and customer.

With the Conversation event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Status

  • Tags

  • Time completed

  • Time created

  • Count

Invoice

An Invoice event is a list of services provided with a statement of the amount due for these. Invoices are generally provided after a service has been provided.

With the Invoice event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Amount

  • Date paid

  • Status

  • Tags

  • Time created

  • Average of amounts

  • Count

  • Sum of amounts

We capture Invoice event data from the following third party apps:

Payment

A Payment event represents a payment from a payment method.

With the Payment event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Amount

  • Status

  • Tags

  • Time created

  • Average of amounts

  • Count

  • Sum of amounts

We capture Payment event data from the following third party apps:

Proposal

A Proposal event is a proposed service or list of services. Generally occurs before a service has been provided, and is often part of the process of securing a Booking. A Proposal can be accepted or rejected. Also known as 'estimate' or 'deal'.

With the Proposal event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Amount

  • Status

  • Tags

  • Time completed

  • Time created

  • Count

We capture Proposal event data from the following third party apps:

  • Hubspot

Recommendation

A Recommendation event is when a person or company recommends a service to another person or company.

With the Recommendation event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Tags

  • Time created

  • Count

We generate Recommendation events through the Recommendations feature.

Review

A Review event occurs when a person leaves a review.

With the Review event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Network

  • Rating

  • Time created

  • Average rating

  • Count

We capture review events from connected review channels.

Visit

A visit event occurs when a customer visits a company or a company visits a customer.

With the Visit event comes a list of properties that give us more details on that event. Below is a list of those properties:

  • Amount

  • Is complete

  • Tags

  • Time completed

  • Time created

  • Time scheduled

  • Average of amounts

  • Count

  • Sum of amounts
